In all honesty I wasn’t a huge “fan” of SH4 but I didn’t hate it. After you’re review of it I actually find my self to appreciate the game a lot more. When I get my hands on a copy again, I’m gonna play it with an open mind and not have that automatic thought of “this isn’t a silent hill game” like you had stated before. Any way, thanks for these videos! You should do another game series you enjoy, even if it wasn’t a game I liked, I would still watch.

The thing is that the game is not bad but the trailers where so much better . There was so much they cutted out from the the trailers to the final product. There seemed to be more cut-scenes and monsters , I was really excited to see that . Akira Yamaoka mentioned the reason they cutted all that stuff from the trailers was because he didn’t think the audience could take it :p , that ‘s bs , we silent hill fans can take it !!!!!!

What’s your opinion on twin peaks?
I don’t think the “In Water” ending is true either. The producers said they wanted you to interpret it how you wanted and I doubt they would have changed that. Another thing you might notice, when James is talking to Angela he says “I’d never kill myself” which may or may not be a lie but if he would he probably would have done it before other than the fact that he was delusional. Although he did come to terms with her death, it seems like but maybe just in that one ending.
I think I said it in the first video of this particular game den, but I really hope you do Silent Hill:Homecoming! I watched a Let’s Play on that one, I loved the story and characters, and I want the game really really badly!! I love that game, its probably my second favorite game in the series, Silent Hill 3 is first=D I just don’t understand the hate that game gets! And that “One More Soul To The Call” theme was amazing! Can’t wait to get SH:Homecoming, its a great game=)

I love your reviews of the Silent Hill games Dena. I’ve actually never played a single one, in fact the closest to a horror game I’ve ever played is Killer7 (somebody try to play that game and not get scared by the “Smiles” laughs) but your reviews have given me so much respect for the games. My question is, do you intend on reviewing “Silent Hill 5″ come the next Game Den?
I feel sorry for Walter, he’s lived such a painful life after being abandoned, but I blame the parents -___-
Don’t normally comment on video’s but I think its pretty cool you wrote a novelization of Silent Hill 4. Personally I don’t consider it a Silent Hill game for several technical reasons, mostly involving game design. Anyway I got a creepy idea for a story watching this so thanks, and here is a link to a short story I wrote a while back inspired by Silent hill 2 and 4. Can’t wait for you next Silent Hill video!
